Day One Guides covers the launch window of the biggest upcoming video games: exact release times by region, edition comparisons, PC system requirements, gameplay explainers and launch-week guides.

Most gaming sites try to cover everything. We do the opposite — we pick a small number of major releases each season and cover them properly, from pre-order questions through the first weeks after launch, with every article kept up to date as new official information lands.

What we care about

• Accuracy: every factual claim is sourced from official announcements, store pages or reputable outlets — and we list our sources on each article.
• Freshness: release info changes fast. Articles show a "last updated" date and get revised through launch week.
• No fluff: tables and direct answers first, padding never.
